Delegation of Google Inc. of U.S. Tours Pyongyang

Youth Delegates Tour Various Parts of Pyongyang

[imagebrowser id=21]Delegates to the celebrations of Youth Day visited various places of Pyongyang. They went to the Exhibition of Arms and Equipment of the Korean People's Army. Being briefed on the fact that the exhibition was successfully built under the leadership of the dear respected Kim Jong Un, they looked round small arms, various types of artillery pieces, tanks, armored cars, warships, aircraft, strategic rockets and other combat and technical equipment manufactured at munitions factories in the DPRK.

They visited the Victorious Fatherland Liberation War Memorial Tower. Lecturers of the Tower warmly welcomed them with bunches of flowers, They laid a floral basket and bunches of flowers before the main sculpture "Victory". They also went to the Three-Revolution Exhibition. At the Hall of Works on the Juche Idea they grasped ideological and theoretical feats of President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il. They moved to the Hall of Heavy Industry and the National House of Class Education.

Delegates to Celebrations of Youth Day Visit Mangyongdae and Martyrs′ Cemetery

They put bunches of flowers before the graves of Kim Po Hyon and Ri Po Ik, grandparents of the President, and Kim Hyong Jik and Kang Pan Sok, his parents, in Mangyongdae and paid silent tribute to them.

They went to the Mangyongdae Revolutionary Museum to go round historic relics and materials, looking back on the patriotic and revolutionary life of the President and his family members in Mangyongdae who devoted their all to the country and the people. Then they moved to the old home where they looked round historic relics showing the noble traits of the President and his family members in Mangyongdae.

Their next stop was the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong. They placed bouquets before the bust of Kim Jong Suk, anti-Japanese war hero, and paid tribute to her. They observed a moment's silence in memory of anti-Japanese revolutionary martyrs who devoted their all to the sacred struggle for the liberation of the country and freedom and happiness of the people. Delegates to Celebrations of Youth Day Enjoy Extravaganza 'Arirang'

[imagebrowser id=15]Delegates to the celebrations of Youth Day enjoyed mass gymnastic and artistic performance "Arirang", winner of Kim Il Sung Prize, at May Day Stadium Saturday.

Among the audience were service personnel, people from all walks of life, youth and students, overseas Koreans and foreign guests and the delegates. The performance mesmerized the audience from its very beginning as it made a grand epic representation of the past and present of the Korean nation and its eternal prosperity in the future.

Participants in International Academic Symposium Visit International Friendship Exhibition House

The participants in the international academic symposium of Kim Il Sung University visited the International Friendship Exhibition House on Thursday.

They paid tribute to the wax replicas of President Kim Il Sung and anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk who performed the undying feats for the times and mankind.

They went round with deep emotion gifts which the President, leader Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un received from heads of parties, states and governments and distinguished figures of many countries.

Vietnamese Delegation Visits Mangyongdae

A friendship delegation of the Service Department of Diplomatic Corps of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam led by Director General Nguyen Van Hoa visited Mangyongdae, the birthplace of President Kim Il Sung, on Thursday.

The members of the delegation looked round historic relics, being briefed on the revolutionary history of the President and his patriotic and revolutionary family members at Mangyongdae.

At the end of the visit the head of the delegation said:

Cuban Embassy Officials Visit Central Zoo

German Hermin Ferras Alvarez, Cuban ambassador to the DPRK, and his embassy officials visited the Central Zoo here Thursday on the occasion of the month of solidarity with the Cuban people.

After being briefed on the fact that the zoo was successfully built as a center which helps people lead a cultural and emotional life and the visitors get knowledge of animals, the guests looked round an aquarium, cages of fierce animals, play pools for animals, places for watching animals' feats and other places.
