The Pyongyang Aromatic Trading Company has steadily increased production after it started operation last year. Its products include various kinds of aromatic essences used for making foodstuffs, cosmetics and other daily necessities. The products are considered better than the imported ones. Now they are applied to production at different foodstuff and cosmetics factories, including Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory and Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory.
The director of the company, Kim Myong Suk, told KCNA:
"The company is the country's first comprehensive producer of aromatic essences. The company will steadily develop new kinds of products and boost production to fully meet the domestic demand."
Scientists, technicians, workers and officials who made contributions to the successful satellite launch came here at the invitation of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un. They visited the Pyongyang Cornstarch Factory on Friday.
When they arrived at the factory, officials and employees of the factory warmly welcomed them with garlands and bouquets. They went round the confectionary shop, okdang sugar shop, products exhibition hall, etc., being briefed on the fact that the factory turned into a modern large confectionary producer.
At the end of the visit they spent pleasant time, dancing with the employees, rejoiced over launching the first scientific and technological satellite by their own efforts and technologies and successfully carrying out the behests of leader Kim Jong Il.
Then they went to the Ice Rink to enjoy a men's hockey match. They also enjoyed skating after the match.
